Who knew?

Going through Amazon and this book showed up in my recommendations:

 

Firefighters potty? NO WAY!

We needed this genre extended beyond “Everyone goes to the potty?”  There were whole groups of kids out there thinking that doctors, teachers, lawyers, bus drivers all go to the potty, but not firefighters–no WAY can firefighters need to potty.

I mean, doesn’t the whole handling a hose-spraying-water lend itself to a natural connection?  (I’ve only potty-trained a boy, so maybe it doesn’t connect for girls as naturally.)

How much you wanna bet there are several other professions singled out this way?  Where is the “Even Geeky Web Specialists go the Potty” book?

Beyond the genre-extension problems, I also have trouble not laughing-yet-recoiling-in-horror from the fact that it says “A Potty Training Lift-the-Flap Story.”  Whose idea was this?  It’s just WRONG.

Then at the bottom of that page, it recommends this book:

 

Chugga Chugga Poo Poo?

HORRIBLE.  I’m at a loss for words.
